The Bistrot du Bord de l'Eau, located in the small town of Levernois and laid out in the old kitchens of the historic building of the Hostellerie dating back to 1750, makes the connection between yesterday and today : double fireplace and exposed stone walls recalls the charm of Burgundy stone.

The conviviality of "good eating"

In winter, enjoy a fireside dinner and savor the Chef's comfort food. On sunny days, the terrace of our restaurant The Bistrot du BOrd de l'Eau, near Beaune, opens its doors and offers you a meal along the river La Bouzaise for a sunny lunch right on the plate. In full summer, appreciate a dinner outside at Levernois, far from the tumult of the city.

Lead by Philippe Augé and Bernard Morillon, the cuisine of the bistro is fresh and greedy, reinvented daily on the basis of market products and vegetables from our vegetable garden . It also puts Burgundy on the menu : Snakes in sweet garlic broth, eggs in a Chardonnay style or also marbled ham are the best dishes of the Bistrot du Bord de l'Eau.
In the glasses, Burgundy is never far. By the glass or the bottle, favorites of the sommelier and nice finds are to be discovered without delay.

Opening of the restaurant :

  • From June 11th to the end of October : Open every day for lunch and dinner.
  • From November to mid-November : Open every day for lunch and every day for dinner except Tuesdays and Wednesdays (closed for dinner only). 
  • From mid-November to 31 Mars : Open every day for lunch and every day for dinner, except Mondays and Tuesdays (closed for dinner only).
  • Service room : from 12:15 to 13:45 for lunch and from 19:15 to 21:00 fot dinner
  • Yearly closures : from Sunday 22 to Wednesday 25 Décember 2019 inclusive and from Sunday 2 February to Tuesday 10 March 2020 inclusive.
